SOCOTRA ISLAND WHY ARE YOU SO COLORFUL AND STRANGE AND AMAZING?

Also, this picture makes me laugh so much, it's just like a fat tree on overlooking the land like SIIIIIIMMMMMBAAAAAA

I was in the middle of a painstaking color and texture matching war with nature and wearables and I reconsidered what I was doing. Why the fuck am I so concerned about that? Emanating nature and all of it? The real effect of Socotra Island, for all of its freakishness and disproportionality and beauty from the harshness of the land--it's like no other; it's unique. The baobob-desert-roses won't explode if I don't imitate everything from one picture perfectly. I remember one of dyl4n's HAs on style-file whose description addressed the formulaic mindset of many avatars--color match here, balance the accessory there--and I felt a bit ashamed for falling into that trap myself. Why not re-collect my eclectic vibe that dyl liked so much from my previous avatars? But I mean face it, my avatar with the most adores, I created to mock the trends I was seeing at the time, in a sense. It's very strange, that I probably don't appeal to as much people with my normal style. Or I'm just being a hypocrite; it's been too long.

I based this loosely off of the picture of dragon blood trees from NatGeo cause it was cool. It kind of deviated from that. But whatever.
