About this Style ::Demonizing the Fairy Godmother:: Even though the Shrek franchise did a decent job of turning her into a villain, already, I tried my hand at it as well. Fractured Fairytales really is one of my favorite contests. So, now, for my thought process... At her core, the Fairy Godmother would still be a fairy. Or, at the very least, fairy-like. She would just become tainted and angry. A fallen fairy, if you will. She would spend more time with the darker creatures of the forest. And, since the original character was selfless, the villain version would have to be the opposite... self-centered & vain.
