About this Style Base: 20191F Bright Shading: 9AA9B7 Dark Shading: 000000 How did the work of art you chose inspire you to make this avatar? This caught my eye when I was looking through the pieces of art. I found the colors to be striking, and I wanted to use the color palette as an inspiration for the HA. In this piece of art, the bits of orange really stood out against the saturated blues so I tried to make the orange color stand out as the focal point of this HA, in this case, the eyes. The areas on the painting where the orange is concentrated look like flames, which is why I tried to place “flame” designs throughout the HA. When I looked more closely at the piece of art, I noticed that there were many flowing lines, so I tried to recreate that on the head, torso with the drape top, and ankles with the flames. In addition to seeing flames, I also saw that there was a wing motif in the painting. The center of the painting is a creature which has large fluffy wings. Because the creature is so large, I made the legs of the HA, which is a large section of the HA, white like the creature. Around this creature, there are other creatures which have more reptilian wings, which is why I used fins on the HA to recreate a more water-like feel and a sackcloth underneath the drape top to imitate the scales from reptiles and fish creatures.
