About this Style While I was listening to Beyonce's "Halo", the following lines kept standing out to me: ... hit me like a ray of sun... ... think I'm addicted to your light... I thought about how when you hear the word "halo" the first image in your mind is that of an angel, but the descriptive word halo can be used in many different contexts. The meaning, however, stays the same: "A circular band of colored light around a light source, or something resembling this band". I imagined a man, in the ocean, drowning. He is rescued, and as he opens his eyes, the face of his rescuer is surrounded, blurred by a halo of light formed by the sun behind her. He falls in love instantly. I wanted to capture that feeling of romance and the sun; of light and love.
