About this Style • • • One of the girl's hands cupped her warm, frothy latte as the other hand's fingernails drummed lazily on the well-scrubbed, wooden table of the coffee shop. She gazed dreamily out of the rain-splattered window at the slick streets and barren trees. Sighing deeply, the girl frowned, slumping down a bit and feeling quite like the Winter weather: dreary, gray. Tired. She was about to push her sugary drink away, uninterested now, when something caught her eye: the tiniest blue blossom on the dark-brown bark of the nearest tree outside. The petals swayed in the wind, somehow braving the sleet and rain. The girl smiled a little, taking a sip of her frothy beverage. Maybe spring was not so far away after all. Maybe.
