About this Style This is my entry for the 'Vogue Visa' contest. This is, Violet Vogue. Yes, that is her real hair! :) She is often found in many tints and shades of violet, mauve, lilac, purple... you get the picture. And is always dressed to impress. Her name was 'appointed' to her by her many fans, er, friends. Friends she met along the way on her travels with daddy. Now grown and having seen the world she has decided what she wants to devote her life to. Fashion!, in a sense... She has decided to take advantage of her worldly 'awareness' and connections by creating and marketing attractive clothing for children in need. Mainly being, school uniforms. Pretty frocks for girls and casual (yet durable) pants for boys, or, vice-versa(they can wear what the want! As long as they have something to wear). ;) You've heard of TOMS, right? (The company name is derived from the word "tomorrow," and evolved from the original concept, "Shoes for Tomorrow Project.) Well Violet named her venture, 'Edu-Fit'. Fitting children (in clothing) so they can go to school and get an education! Her idea is well on it's way, but first, Violet has some shmoozing and entertaining to do dahlings. How else will she get all of the 'big wigs' to help support her cause? Her party will take place in Paris. Where else? In the fall (hence her warm hat). It is held in the park and looks just fabulous equipped with large glass bulbs filled with light lilac lighting. An array of purple Iris, Hyacinthus and Orchid garlands surrounding seating with rich violet tapestry where people sit and sip purple wine. And it is at just the time when kids are heading back to school. Upon chatting about the start of school Violet introduces her idea. Let's hope her fabulous look speaks for her astuteness, and of course, her remarkable sense of style.
