About this Style  First of the series of Elemental Rulers, the aspect of Water. The Ice Sovereign rules over the frozen lands of the north. The water in her domain takes the form of both sharp crystal of ice and gentle floes of water. She represents a duality: harsh and gentle, hard and soft. Her emblem is the icy crown she wears, a delicate structure that would be crushed by the hands of mere men. I've wanted to start this series for a while, but certain events prevented that from happening. For water, I didn't want to go with the "Flowy beautiful serenity" look, because Ian already did it and I knew I wouldn't be able to top him on that. So I took the idea of water and representing it as both soft as water and hard as ice, and this is what happened. ALSO: THAT SLEEVE IS THE BEST THING EVER.
