About this Style Epik High - Decalcomanie the piano in the background is just... *o* How did the work of art you chose inspire you to make this avatar? My avatar is based off of this piece, and what really drew me to it are the numerous contrasting elements in it. You've got these large blocky areas of darkness, and then peeks of light colours in other areas. Then there are the really soft shapes with a dreamlike quality paired with the sharp geometric shapes and hard lines. I tried to incorporate those elements in my avatar. For example, using the argyle stockings and shaman earring to replicate the diamond and circle pattern, the delicate beading of the colonial necklace to imitate the pale scales in the painting, and I especially loved using the orangy lip colour, I've been trying to incorporate that into an avatar for a while now :) Tags: sfArt |
