About this Style Long ago their ancient enemies, the Sartan, imprisoned the Partyrns in the deadly Labyrinth. Meant to teach them a lesson the Labyrinth instead fed on their fear and their hatred toward the Sartan and became twisted and evil. Now every moment is a struggle to survive. Even babies are taught not to cry, for their cry could bring death to those around them. Few babies even know their parents, who may just stay in a squatter settlement long enough to tattoo the first heart rune before moving on hoping that their child will survive, and find the Final Gate. No Patryn ever forgets who put them in this death trap, and every one nurses a deep hatred over the course of their lives. The runes tattooed over their entire bodies (save the soles of the feet, palms of the hands and the head) act as a warning system (glow if danger is present), defence (blue) and attack (red). Their hair is brown at the roots and blond/white at the tips. This particular Patryn is a Runner (those who battle the Labyrinth) and has seen 20 gates. Tags: cosplay contest |
