What side is this anyway? Put down your sword and crown Come lay with me on the ground You come beating like moth's wings Spastic and violently Whipping me into a storm Shaking me down to the core But you run away from me And you've left me shimmering Like diamond wedding rings Spinning dizzily down on the floor." As I was listening to the song, I kept getting this vision of two people sitting in this garden of gray and brown withered flowers, holding hands and having the most sincere, heart to heart moment. I imagined the couple talking about deep, dark secrets that have flawed them and held them back from fully opening up to each other. I see so many different things in my head as I listen more and more. I couldn't possibly begin to put it all into words. It was quite powerful for me. Basically, to explain the avatar further, I chose the leaf laurel to represent the laurel in the song and I made it green to give the illusion of the leaves that are drifting away. The black flower under the laurel represents the garden of withered flowers I envisioned. The colors represent the overall mood of the song, from what I perceived it to be.
