and to add on to Kiwi's suggestion, I would watch the layering (eyes over hair.... oh no!) and watch the shape so it's more aesthetic rather than chunky (unless that's intentional of course).

I think you're good at matching colors, but if you accept a suggestion, I'd try to start matching in a different way, making 'combos' and that stuff.
Watching others is a good start. :)
