This is great.

I've actually been thinking recently (as you might or might not have suspected when you suddenly got a bunch of adores from me on your older avatars) how fun it would be to do a revival of your old style. It was so influential; it deserves some love!

...So yes. Made me think of that, on account of those kickass vampire hunter shoes, which are indeed totally perfect for the stripes and criss-crossing action you've got going on here.

Yeah....when I put them on I was like, "OMG, now I remember why I loved these shoes."

I don't know if I'd call it my old style, either...I just can't break away from my personal aesthetic and I'm not sure that's totally a bad thing?

Well, you're right to a certain extent, but there is still a distinct evolution between, say, this and this, which could be interesting to explore.
