I absolutely love the top half. The colors are just gorgeous and the browns are lovely in contrast against the grayed-cream color. That hair style is also a great play against the husks of the corn headpiece. It has a swanky farmer's daughter vibe going on that's quirky and really interesting.
The bottom doesn't work quite as well for me. The grays of the shorts and at the ankles are a bit too dark to match back to the silver grays of the headband and ring. The mariachi boots are a very strong black and don't quite mesh with the rest of the avatar since they're really the only black you're using. I actually don't think you need black for this av, it would be stronger without it. Shoes can be hella tricky, but I would play around with that layer some more, because I bet you could sort out a more cohesive alternative.
I think if you just play back into the prim and delicate vs. warm and earthy thing you've got going on in the top half of this, then it'll be completely brilliant. That part is beautifully thought out and looks so carefully assembled - lovelylovelylovely.

Thank you! That really helped me. I wasn't so sure on the bottom or shoes, so I think I will go play around with it some, later c:
