Yay, more male HA makers!

Critique wise, I'd suggest not using so many Vanity items in one HA (I definitely know though that it is difficult not to since male items are so limited). I'd also suggest decluttering the chest area a bit, because the belt/watch/stick are too many accessories in too close an area.

The only other thing that bothered me was the hair sticking out on the side of the hat, but in this case I think you could just actually remove the hat and it'd still look good c:

Thank you for the critique! It's my first attempt at a guy, so I definitely need the help XD

That tuft of hair is definitely an issue. Any recommendations for another hat? The only reason I was so dead set on keeping the hat in the picture was for the "jockey" look that I was going for -- in my mind, they always have caps, though I have no idea if that's *actually* true. Or maybe a recommendation for another hair + beard style? I have Hazed and Mend...but I really hate Mend for some reason.

Question about Vanity sets: do you think it's still a problem if there aren't any two items from the same set, or is that still a no-go? I was kind of worried about relying so heavily on Vanity for the staples of this outfit, but I convinced myself that it wasn't a big deal since I used four different sets...but its so easy to lie to ourselves lol

Ah, sorry, long response/lots of questions >.<

Ahhh, that makes sense! Off the top of my head, I can't think of any other hats that would work (maybe the Viv Warm Front if you are open to changing the color palette too). Under the Decaf hat, most short male hair should work, so try Cer or Buzzcut. If you wanted a beard too, maybe look into using the Essence of Manliness?

Yeah, in the case of Vanity, I tend to not use too many of them at once, even if they are from different sets. If you are looking to apply to a cult or something, not using too many Vanity items (in a single HA and your overall app) can definitely help show your ability to use the limited male items and create something cohesive. If you want to continue making boytars, I'd suggest buying most waistcoat/vest items, jackets, blazers, bows, and shirts because realistic (which ends up being preppy sometimes) is a good way to go when making original male HAs.

No worries! If you need any help, you can also feel free to just comments me on Sub :)
