I can't upload!

I tried to upload an avatar, but for some reason it won't let me. I first thought my computer was being stubborn again, but when I tried to upload the avatar on another computer it didn't work either.
Can someone please tell me what's wrong?

is the image bigger than 125x250? is it a filetype other than (if i missed a major filetype i'll be more than happy to add it to the allowed filetype list) jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp?
