I sort of feel the same way really.
I never get comments so I have no idea why people like the ones they do adore. I'm happy with the adores, don't get me wrong, but it's cool to get thoughtful comments on what people like or don't like about your HA

In the beginning I tried commented on every thing that I liked and I liked a lot of things. :3 But now it's more just what I really like. And the fact that no one ever replied made me feel sort of annoying.
Plus I just kind of ran out of things to say.

I try my best to comment, but sometimes what I want to say has already been said, so no use sounding like a broken record. |D

I usually just adore unless there's something I really need to commend the person on. Admittedly I'd like more comments on mine, just so I know why people like certain avatars, but as I don't do it myself I don't think I can complain too much.
Though, sometimes I want to comment without adoring - like if there's something specific I like and would like to tell them, but don't like the rest of the HA? I mean, would people be offended if they got a comment but no adore?

I usually just adore. I've been adoring so many different avatars just lately. There are some real gems! I will comment if I find something really special or appealing about an avatar, though.

Other than that, no. I comment more than I adore, I think.

lolomg.
that linked to my board.
xD

but yeah, I try and comment at least 1/2 of the time.

I'll comment when I see something that's good but can be better (give suggestions :D)
but I usually am limited on the adores. :c

I usually just adore.
Comments are saved for avatars I really love, or if they're innovative and different without looking tacky.

Most of the time I'll just adore. But I'll post a comment if I feel like I wanted to say something on that particular HA. Like something outstanding about the HA, or if it's lacking in something... but sometimes I'll withhold that because I don't want to come across rude. Never know how one will take constructive criticism. Don't want to start any confrontations... don't like 'em.
